I had hoped this would be a book for my entire family to read, but there are rather graphic pictures included. I don't agree with the 8-12 age range. My teenage son really enjoyed it, and it was appropriate for him. I advise parents read it over first.
School project hard cover good product
This was a great story about the Christmas spirit overcoming the darkness of war. The drawings and photographs are the best I've seen. You won't want to read it to your students, but I summarize and show the pictures. If you love history WWI, this is a great resource.
This was very well written. Loved the illustration and can’t what to read more books just like this!! You should all try it.
Gave me some new information on World War I
One page was stuck to another; but otherwise the book was in good shape. I am really pleased with the book's content.
My son, who reads pretty fast anyway, read this in a day. He says it is "very good", which is a lot from a 14 year old.
